10 SAVED IN McMAHAN BAPTIST

AGGIES THAT CAME OVER TO OUR HOUSEThese Aggies were part of a workday program that
help people with jobs around the house. They cleaned
our windows, trimed the hedges, and washed my
motorhome. They worked hard and did a good job.

Norma invited them to our church and 2 came Sunday.

McMAHAN BAPTIST OUTSIDE OF LOCKHART TX

Pastor Robert Horton took the church last year.
He and his wife have done a good job of increasing
both the attendance and the offering for missions.
He retired from another church only to be called
to be the Pastor of this country work.

Some of the crowd. They usually run about 70 a
and had 109 in attendance with several visitors.
10 were saved and 3 have already commited to joining
the church next Sunday.

One of those that got saved in the middle.
He is one of those that will join the church.



SUNDAY NIGHT AT GRACE BAPTIST IN RED ROCK, TXPastor and Mrs. Miller and some of the members.
They are reading though the Bible in 90 days and
reviewing each week what they have read.
Another country church but the biggest thing in Red Rock.
They have several outreach ministires.


The General provided some great music on the organ.
No one saved but a good resonse to my Alamo Message.
It talks about standing up for the Lord today.

7 SAVED TEXAS COWBOY CHURCH IN ORCHARD, TX

Pastor R.O. Murray started a church
out in the country in a barn. They are not
a large church in numbers, but boy are
they dedicated to doing the Lord's work.

Pastor Murray has a great knowledge of promotion,
and has had a lot of talent come to his church. They
even have a couple of wrestlers in the chruch that do
exibitions at VA Hospitals and give the Gospel.

Some of the crowd Sunday, the Lord saved 7 of them

This lion is on the platform with the Bible.
When I first saw it I thought was a real stuffed lion

To the right of the lion was a lighted
Cross with the angels blowing trumpets.
It was very imperssive.

They have a great trio, singing some
unusual arrangements but really creative,

and moving music.

Developing young talent in the church.

The church does a lot of mission work in Mexico,
Romania, and other places. They have a giving spirit
of their time and talent to the Lord and the lost.

MAR 8-15 17 SAVED TYLER, JAIL, BROADDUS, AND NACOGDOCHES

CORNERSTONE BAPTIST IN TYLER TEXAS
The lord saves 6 precious souls.
Pastor Richard Harris is the new Pastor,
and is doing a good job in renewing the chruch.
I enjoyed the fellowship with him and the church.

SOME R&R WITH 35 PREACHERS AND MEN OF THEIR CHURCHES

We met each morning for breakfast at the Ranchhouse Cafe
owned by a Christian. We had a devotion and prayer.

There were about 30-35 preachers and men of the church there.

Evangelist Dennis Erwin started this yearly get
together at Lake Sam Rayburn several years ago.

Bro. Cheney took me in his boat and we caught
over 50 keeper bass in our boat on Monday.

We fished from 9am to 7pm and I was tired,
but it was really good tired. I needed the break.
A total of 950 keeper bass were caught in the 3 days,
and all were relesed except for 50 a preacher took
to his chuch for a fish fry.


7 SAVED IN JAIL SERVICES
6 men and one woman were saved at
the jail. Sheriff David is a member of
Trinity Baptist Church in Broaddus Tx.

TRINITY BAPTIST IN BROADDUS TEXAS
There was a full house with several visitors and 2 saved.


Pastor Don Lofton has been there for many years
and has done a great job there. The Lord has built
the buildings and the church though him and his wife.
The church presented him with a framed picture of
him and his wife and his parents. His Dad went to be
with the Lord a couple of weeks ago.

2 SAVED AT GRACE BAPTIST IN NACODOCHES

2 were saved in service, Pastor Bill Hunter with this young man
that was saved in the service. Bro. Rumbaugh one of the church
members helped get the publicity out with me on a radio commercial

on 4 country western stations and in the paper. Everytime a church
puts out the extra effort to put my commercial on Country radio
and in the paper God uses that to get lost people and lots of visitors

to hear the Gospel. You can see by the pictures and over 100 souls
saved in the last month.

Food booths are another oppertunity to pass out tracts

This man owns the Boil and Go Crawfish place in Lufkin Tx
and a booth on the midway. He gave us free
about 5 pounds of crawfish. God provides though him.

Bro. Payne here is how the Duke eats crawfish.

Come on Bro Payne you can do it.

Ok I'll do it but I'll put on my dark glasses so I don't

have to watch. Yeah, all the flavor is in the crawfish head

There all kinds of booths that received tracts.

We also saw some cute kids there.

This man had a $3,000 JW buckle called the Double D
I have one made of brass, this one is real gold and silver.

The border patrol was there too.

Lots of tracts passed out on the walkways.

Young and old people take tracts from the Duke.

Lots of horse people there.

Lots of cow people too.

People every where.

On the light rail back to the parking lot
a little tired, but happy 700 tracts passed out.
Bro. Payne took all the pictues for you to see.

And Bro. Beagle, one of the men in his chruch
carried the bag of tracts that I had to have.

Both of them scouted out and alerted me to
people that were watching me that might
want a picture tract.

VA HOSPITAL TOPEKA KS, AND NEW TRAIL COWBOY CHURCH

FEB 27 ABILENE KS EISENHOWER MUSEUM It got down to 7 degrees with snow while I was there.
My dump valves froze up and had to thaw in a building.

An author that I met that wrote a book on Korean war.

I may get booked back t the museum for a D Day remembrance.

FEB 27 VA HOSPITAL IN TOPEKA KS.

As usual, all received tracts from me.

The recreation director that allowed me to come.

All in all about 300 tracts were given out to patients and staff.

The crowd on Sunday morning, over 80 visitors,
the Lord saved 48 that morning

Pastor Stan spoke with those that got saved for
over an hour. The Holy Spirit just came down in that

service, and the people just kept coming down.

Monday night crowd is usually about 20 but they had
over 100 visitors. The Lord saved 9 in that service.

Below are some of the 57 that got saved Sun and Mon.

Both Husband and Wife got saved at the same time.
It was a fruitful trip and in spite of the 7 degree nights
people came and God saved them.

The church advertised in the newspaper and on country western
radio stations. I cut a 30 sec radio commercial for them in the JW voice.

I have found that flyers are good but most people come from the
newspaper ads and the radio ads on the country western stations.
