WWII BATTLESHIP SAILOR TELLS OBAMA TO SHAPE UP OR SHIP OUT

WW II Battleship sailor tells Obama to shape up or ship out !

This venerable and much honored WW II vet is well known in Hawaii

for his seventy-plus years of service to patriotic organizations and causes

all over the country. A humble man without a political bone in his body,

he has never spoken out before about a government official, until now.

He dictated this letter to a friend, signed it and mailed it to the president.

Dear President Obama,

My name is Harold Estes, approaching 95 on December 13 of this year. People meeting me for the first time don't believe my age because I remain wrinkle free and pretty much mentally alert.

I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1934 and served proudly before, during and after WW II retiring as a Master Chief Bos'n Mate. Now I live in a "rest home" located on the western end of Pearl Harbor , allowing me to keep alive the memories of 23 years of service to my country.

One of the benefits of my age, perhaps the only one, is to speak my mind, blunt and direct, even to the head man.

So here goes.

I am amazed, angry and determined not to see my country die before I do, but you seem hell bent not to grant me that wish.

I can't figure out what country you are the president of.You fly around the world telling our friends and enemies despicable lies like:

" We're no longer a Christian nation"

" America is arrogant" - (Your wife even

announced to the world," America is mean-

spirited. " Please tell her to try preaching

that nonsense to 23 generations of our

war dead buried all over the globe who

died for no other reason than to free a

whole lot of strangers from tyranny and

hopelessness.)

I'd say shame on the both of you, but I don't think you like America, nor do I see an ounce of gratefulness in anything you do, for the obvious gifts this country has given you. To be without shame or gratefulness is a dangerous thing for a man sitting in the White House.

After 9/11 you said," America hasn't lived up to her ideals."

Which ones did you mean? Was it the notion of personal liberty that 11,000 farmers and shopkeepers died for to win independence from the British? Or maybe the ideal that no man should be a slave to another man, that 500,000 men died for in the Civil War? I hope you didn't mean the ideal 470,000 fathers, brothers, husbands, and a lot of fellas I knew personally died for in WWII, because we felt real strongly about not letting any nation push us around, because we stand for freedom.

I don't think you mean the ideal that says equality is better than discrimination. You know the one that a whole lot of white people understood when they helped to get you elected.

Take a little advice from a very old geezer, young man.

Shape up and start acting like an American. If you don't, I'll do what I can to see you get shipped out of that fancy rental on Pennsylvania Avenue . You were elected to lead not to bow, apologize and kiss the hands of murderers and corrupt leaders who still treat their people like slaves.

And just who do you think you are telling the American people not to jump to conclusions and condemn that Muslim major who killed 13 of his fellow soldiers and wounded dozens more. You mean you don't want us to do what you did when that white cop used force to subdue that black college professor in Massachusetts , who was putting up a fight? You don't mind offending the police calling them stupid but you don't want us to offend Muslim fanatics by calling them what they are, terrorists.

One more thing. I realize you never served in the military and never had to defend your country with your life, but you're the Commander-in-Chief now, son. Do your job. When your battle-hardened field General asks you for 40,000 more troops to complete the mission, give them to him. But if you're not in this fight to win, then get out. The life of one American soldier is not worth the best political strategy you're thinking of.

You could be our greatest president because you face the greatest challenge ever presented to any president. You're not going to restore American greatness by bringing back our bloated economy. That's not our greatest threat. Losing the heart and soul of who we are as Americans is our big fight now. And I sure as hell don't want to think my president is the enemy in this final battle.

Sincerely,

Harold B. Estes

FUNDAMENTAL BAPTIST IN WELLINGTON, TX

FUNDAMENTAL BAPTIST IN WELLINGTON, TX
70Th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION.

I took this picture on the way to Wellington.
I was reminded of the scripture.
Joh 4:35 Say not ye, There are yet four months,
and then cometh harvest? behold, I say
unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look
on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

Bro. and Sister Chastain have done a great job
of meeting a real challenge of rebuilding the church.

They are in the process of putting a new face on
the outside of the building and new spirit inside.

Some of those attending on Saturday and Sunday.

The Lord saved 4 in the services, 2 of them above.

Beautiful cross decoration above the Baptistery.

Great old fashion singing and and specials.

Pastor John Chastain MC for all the former
pastors that came to the anniversary celebration.
Bro. and Sis. Huntress are retired and
members there now. He pastored Calveary
Baptist Church in Palestine for many years.
He took us on for support and Calvary still supports us.

Missionary to Philippines John Tremble.
He has been on the field 15 years.
He was saved in this church.

PASSING OUT TRACTS AT THE NURSING HOME IN WELLINGTON
Nice decoration out side the Home
Glad Bro. and Sis. Chastain gave me this opportunity.

Seniors are always glad to see me.

Some go bananas like this lady, a big Duke fan.

I always include the staff in passing out tracts.

Some in rooms and some out, but
I try to catch them all.

One lady had a dog for a roommate.
Looks like a politician I met one time,
naw, dogs can't lie and they protect you.

CENTRAL BAP CHICO TX & CHUCK NORRIS BOOK SIGNING

PASSING OUT ALMOST 300 TRACTS AT
CHUCK NORRIS BOOK SIGNING IN MALL
One of our Vietnam Vets. I thanked him
for his service and gave him a picture tract.

Lots of young people at the mall.

Over 1,000 came to get a book signed by
TV star of Walker Texas Ranger Chuck Norris.

Lots of older people there too. I took pictures
with about 200 people while waiting in line.

Our friend Phylis Parker stood in line with us.

The line wrapped around a good section of the mall.

CENTRAL BAPTIST CHURCH IN CHICO TEXASFred Ferren is the Pastor there for a little over a year.
He has a real positive attitude and is doing a good job.

It is a small country church with the facilities to grow.

The small but dedicated choir did a good job.
We had good services and the Lord met with us.
I am booked back there in August, Bro. Fred had
me on a last minute basis this time and we will
have more visitors next time.

We ate at "MOM'S CAFE" in downtown Chico
I did this cartoon of Pastor Fred in front of Mom's

This is Mom and Pop the owners of the Cafe.
If you are in Chico or even close like in Decatur Tx
go out of your way to eat there. You won't be disappointed.
MMmm a steam table with good home cooking. I loved
the bacon wrapped homemade hamburger steaks.

I passed out tracts there too and
met this lady before I left.

The old soda fountain in Downtown Chico was closed
I took this picture though the window. Even the old
cigar store Indian Kolaga was there.

Some more of downtown Chico

A Bikers church also meets in downtown Chico.

8 SAVED AT BIBLE BAPTSIT IN BRIDGEPORT TX

GREAT DAY LORD SAVES 8 AT 68TH ANNIVERSARY
SERVICE
AT BIBLE BAPTIST IN BRIDGEPORT TX.I stopped in Reisel Tx for chicken and gave
picture tracts to all those working there.

Pastor took me to eat at Yesterdays Sat. Nite.
They had a Halloween Car Show out front with

Lots and lots of people and cars.

Also a few cartoon characters showed up.

A great opportunity to pass out
almost 200 tracts in 2 hours.

Inside the restaurant I preached to Marilyn Monroe.
She was a real dummy

This guy must have crawled out of a hole
because I think he was suppose to be a mole.

Pastor Dale Webster has done a great job
there at Bible Baptist. Good steadfast preacher
the kind that build the solid Ind. Bap. Churches

He and his wife Sharon have worked hard here and the
people have followed their leadership and the whole
church is a church full of great fun loving people
I really enjoyed the fellowship and preaching there.

The church was celebrating it's 68th anniversary.
This lady was one of the charter members and was honored.
Two of the 8 that was saved in the services that day.

This art work was done in a class room by one
of the members. I wish I had gotten her name.
She is really good, and did a great job on this

map on Paul's journeys.

If you are not getting these great cartoons,
contact http://www.joyfultoons.com/ and sign up.
You get one a week and it is free. I think
he lets you use them in your bulletin, but
it tells you more on the site.

Someone sent me this picture of the size of the deer in Michigan.
They use mousetraps to catch them up there. Not a Texas Deer. lol
