MEETINGS IN JACKSONVILLE AND PALESTINE TX

TRAIL TO CHRIST COWBOY CHURCH OUTSIDE JACKSONVILLE
A Baptist doctrine Cowboy Church

They have greeters on horseback next to Hwy 79

Their logo can be seen from the Hwy.

They have a new Metal building and they are
finishing it all themselves. They were fortunate
to have a professional contractor in the church.

I regret that I did not get a picture with
the Pastor Delbert Comte. He plays in the Church band.
He and his wife Dorothy(does not have Toto anymore) are doing a
a great job and the members are hard workers for the Lord.
The church secretary Joyce, did a great job in promoting and running
ads on Country Western Radio with my voice inviting folks.

They have been running about 80 but broke their attendance record
with about 150 visitors and 7 saved in the services.

I have found that Churches that get me on a Country Western
Radio station and get the picture in the paper usually have a lot of visitors.

Here is some young cowboys that took a picture with me.

There was a re-inactor at the services.
He really dressed the part.

SUNDAY NIGHT AT CALVARY BAPTIST IN PALESTINE
Butch Lockard has been the Pastor there for the last
3 years, and is doing a great job. The people are excited
and new members are being added to the Church.

They also promoted the meeting and had a good
Sunday night crowd for the service, with several visitors.

Calvary Baptist was where I first preached the
Freedom and Sacrifice message 20 years ago.
Since then I have preached it hundreds of times
all over the nation. Now we have it available on
DVD for $15.00 including shipping. You can see
a sample of it at

500 TRACTS PASSED OUT AT RACE TRACK

TRACTS AT THE TRACK
with Johnny and Jill Witmore
They are a great couple that love the Lord and serve Him at
Southwest Baptist Church. Jill got saved under my ministry at
Bible Baptist in Wichita Falls where Mike Rucker
is the Pastor.Mike is also involved in racing. He said I will be getting a call
from Motorsport Raceway in Dallas Ft. Worth to pass out tracs there.
Johnny drives a race car, and he and Jill are
involved in ministering to the drivers of race cars.
We went to the track with them Saturday night
to pass out tracts and to plug the meeting at
Southwest Baptist held the next morning.
Isn't Norma looking good, I am so proud of her,
she has lost about 40 pounds. It should help
to have less weight on that bad knee. Keep praying
for her knee to make a full recovery.
There were about 2,000 fans in the stands.
.

Jill, Norma, and Pastor Nick Adams. This is
where the virus and the race car fumes caught up to
poor Noma and we had to leave before halftime.

This is the Winners Circle where I did my
flag poem "Son do you see old glory"
before they played the National Anthem.

You think your gas is high. This is 110 octane
and is over $6.00 a gallon.

Inside the Parts trailer, where drivers
can get tires and repair items.

I passed out tracts to the people coming in.
I had time to pass out over 500. I had presigned
them before going to the track.

7 SAVED AT SOUTHWEST BAPTIST IN WICHITA AND 400 TRACTS PASSED OUT AT VA HOSPITAL

click on pictures to enlarge and see detail.
Southwest Baptist Chruch in Wichita.

The Devil fought all the way on this trip.
The night before we left I came down with a virus.
I drove 10 hours in the motor home after spending
most of Thursday night in the bathroom. I got over it in
3 days, but then Norma came down with it and is still quezey.
Norma went to the Doctor today, pray for her recovery.

Some of the crowd with about 25 visitors.

There were 7 that received Christ, and the man
in the middle was one of them. Pastor Nick Arnold
is on the right asking what happened to him.

On Monday we went to the Robert J. Dole VA Hosp.

I put on a show for some of the Vets and then they
escorted me to all the floors and departments. I thank
the Vets for their service and give them one of my picture tracts.
Pray for fruit from them, as some of those that I met
may not be coming out of the hospital. Some of these have been
though the closest thing there is to Hell on earth war, and I want
to make sure they have a chance to go to Heaven.
The lady in the back is Meagan . She helped set this up.

I also thank the staff for their work with the Vets.
These are some of the most dedicated and caring
people in the world. Most do it not as a job, but
as a Ministry of physical care to the Vets.

GIVING OUT TRACTS AT NORMA'S GARAGE SALE

This picture taken on Mother's Day
Betty Goates, my Wife's Mother moved in with us
about 5 years ago. She is almost blind from diabetes.
They are selling her house in
Uvalde, Tx and we had to rent a Uhaul trailer and
hook it behind the motorhome to bring all her stuff
here to our house. My wife held a garage sale to help her sell it.

Lots of people came through this sale, and we saw
it as an oppertunity to give out the Gospel.

We made my picture tract available at the sales table
and gave out quite a few to those that came to the sale.
Almost anything can be used for the Lord if we just
will take time to think about the lost souls out there.

You don't have to look like John Wayne to give out
tracts, there are a lot of creative tracts out there that
look like money etc. But if you want some of mine to
give out, I will make them available almost at cost.

DOUBLE HEADER-RIDIN HIGH COWBOY CHURCH AND HORSEMEN FOR CHRIST

10 received Christ as Savior at Ridin High Cowboy church
located between Quinlan and Union, Tx.
They meet in a riding arena.
Bob Ferguson, is the Pastor and he and his wife are doing a great job.

They started last fall and are running in the 80's

They got me on a country western radio station for an interview, before I got there, and they put my picture in the paper and passed out flyers. They did a good job of promoting the meeting and the Lord brought in 65 visitors for a total of 145 that morning.

There was no air conditioning, but the Lord sent a good breese.

I preached the "Freedom and Sacrifice" message, I got
hot in all the John Wayne dress, but we saw the Lord save 10
from a place that would have been a lot hotter for them.

I had good help on the sales table and sold out
of CD's and DVD's. They bought the salvation message
to loan to lost relatives and friends to get them saved.

This is Colby Green, and great teen of the church
that can stand up on his horse and crack a whip like Lash Larue.

THEN IT WAS ON TO THE HORSEMEN FOR CHRIST EVENT
WHERE THE LORD SAW FIT TO SAVE ANOTHER 10

Joe Howard Williamson Founder and President
Loves the Lord, the Kids, and Horses.

Operations Managers Phil and LaDonna Warren
They have a tremendous responsibility in setting up
all the events and camps for Horsemen for Christ.

This is a Christian Cowboy Cutting Horse Competition,
but it is like a youth camp in that they have a chapel time.

We had to put rocks on my sales materials to hold them down.

There were about 65 teens and children and about 35 adults.

10 of the campers including an adult received Christ last night.

MEMORIAL DAY PICNIC AT SMYRNA

On Memorial Day Smyrna Baptist had a picnic
behind the church including patriotic cupcakes.

What is a picnic without a cook.
The Pastor had to fly and check out something
for the military after the picnic, but he got to
stay for most of the events.
The Daugherty Sisters sang patriotic songs.

There was a good turn out..Baptist like food!

Lots of happy faces were there too.

And of course what is Memorial Day about?

Remembering those that gave their
lives for our freedom, and
those that did come back, but were willing

to fight for our freedom.

God Bless them for all that they did
