FIRST REPORT TRIP TO OK AND MISSISSIPPI

MAY 16 REPUBLICAN FUND RAISER IN DUNCAN OKLAHOMA

They broke their record in attendance.

They seemed to like my stand for freedom and
really liked my poem "DO YOU WANT MY GUN"
Selling all 10 copies at the meeting.
I was surprized by a standing ovation.

I took pictures with several candidates.
This is Gov. candidate Fallin, not Pallin.

MAY 17 BIBLE BAPTIST IN LAWTON OK

Pastor Bob Weger on right, has done a great job there
and has built a great buliding as well. His song
leader closest to you kinda looked like Burl Ives.

For some reason the church did not get the attendance in
visitors that we had hoped for, but the Lord saved 6 anyway.

NORMA AND I STAYED AT SOME STATE PARKS Norma is getting some much needed relaxation time.
At home she has all our ministry stuff to do and take
care of her Mother that lives with us. Her Mother is
staying with another Daughter while we are gone.
Norma also looks after my Sister in a nursing home
around the corner from our house.

You get to meet a lot of people at the campground.
This is Ray, a Christian that had cancer and is in remission.

This is Ray's family, a really nice family.

The lady on the left is reading the picture tract
as they walk away, all 4 of them received tracts.
I passed out about 30 tacts that morning just
just walking around the area where we were parked.

Because of the lettering on my Motor Home people
will come up and ask for my picture tracts and
if they can take a picture with me. I found that this
is a good way to get the Gospel out when I am not
in a church. It cost us around $20 a night in most
state parks. Running the generator in a Walmart
parking lot is a little cheaper, but with Norma with me
I splurged a little and sprung for the parks for a few
nights of the trip.

MAY 20 CALVARY BAPTIST AND BOYS RANCH EUFALA, OK. They have several ministries going but also have a church.
Pastor and Mrs. McDonald started the work in 1977.

They have done a great job for the Lord with the Boy's home
and also they minister to men that have problems with Drugs ect.

Coming into the property, you see a cross for every
baby that will be killed in abortion each day.
It really makes you think about how many have died.

They sing for about an hour and then I preached.

We had good services and Norma and I enjoyed them.
23-24 WILDWOOD BAPTIST IN TUPELO, MS
Pastor and Mrs. Bridges love the Lord and have been faithful.

The Sauvageots are his associates there at Wildwood
Bro. Mike MC'd the Youth Rally on Saturday night.
They had activities, hot dogs, and then I preached.

Some of the 80 youth from about 4 or 5 churches

Sunday morning fellowship before the preaching.
Two may have been saved in the service. Pastor
Bridges is following up on the visitors.
MAY 24 NITE AT VICTORY BAPTIST IN PONTOTOC, MS

Pastor Doug Jones lost his wife many years ago,
but continued to Pastor and has done a good job.
This is reall a great church with wonderful folks.

Some of those in attendance and my wife Norma
